We are a food business entity in Tanzania and we are looking for a Sales Representative who will be responsible for contacting clients, maintaining relationships with established clients and consulting on products. He/she will need excellent problem solving, organizational skills and ability to work in a collaborative, consensual environment with cross function for the purpose of improving profitability.

Sales Representative Job Responsibilities:

• Ability to work in a collaborative, consensual environment with cross functional department managers for the purpose of improving profitability and service levels, driving efficiency and sales
• Ability to have a deep understanding of the client’s needs through learning about the client’s budget, goals, and concerns
• Ability to have a deep understanding of food trends, competitors, and pricing for similar products
• Ability to sell the company’s product by expressing the unique and reputable history of such products
• Ability to have a strong working knowledge of his/her employer’s financial goals to ensure they are met or exceeded
• Ability to establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
• Using strong organizational skills to help track and manage clients
• Utilize successful persuasion, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with customers and stakeholders
• Ensure weekly business tracking and reporting for all current and new key accounts
• Communicates directly with customers, brokers, and sales managers as needed on all aspects of business administration needs
• Prepare presentations for internal meetings and reporting

Knowledge and Experience Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Sales Representative
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Familiarity with CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships
• Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
• Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills
• Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
• Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
• Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
